FOUNDER – ACHARYA

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada back in 1966. In the eleven years that followed its founding, Srila Prabhupada established temples all over the world. This would include our temple here in San Diego, which was established in 1970. Our humble efforts are dedicated to the mission and teachings of His Divine Grace.

BOOKS ARE THE BASIS

The study and distribution of the Vedic literatures, presented by Srila Prabhuada, help to expand our spiritual knowledge, peace and well-being.

PURITY IS THE FORCE

Clean living and coming together as a community in our spiritual practice has a profound effect on our consciousness and the world.

OUTREACH IS THE ESSENCE
