1. ISKCON GURUGRAM GITA CONTEST committee decision of the winner(s) will be final and it cannot be challenged in any court of law or forum. No correspondence will be entered into about the Contest or the judges’ decision(s).
2. The date, time and method of holding the quiz can be changed by ISKCON GURUGRAM GITA CONTEST committee due to unforeseen circumstances internal or external.
3. Gita Contest will be based on Bhagavad Gita As it is by Srila Prabhupada, It is participant’s responsibility to arrange Bhagavad Gita As It is, ISKCON GURUGRAM is providing an option to purchase Bhagavad Gita As It is at the time of registration.
4. The choice for medium of the test is English only.
5. The winners will have no objection in sending their videos as testimonials to ISKCON GURUGRAM and mentioning the prize as per ISKCON GURUGRAM `s guidance, these videos can be used for spreading the awareness of Bhagavad Gita and this/these video(s) will be the sole property of ISKCON GURUGRAM.
6. The questions and answers of the quiz cannot be challenged in any way.
7. Any dispute arising will have to be settled in GURUGRAM, Haryana jurisdiction.
8. ISKCON GURUGRAM reserves the right to disqualify the participants and/or revoke the prize if the participants breach any of the terms and conditions of the Contest.
9. Participants are expected to be follow fair, honest and ethical behaviour to appear in the contest, any foul play will result in disqualification.
10. Exam Format:

• The exam will consist of 40 minutes (60  multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• Each question will have four options, with one correct answer (unless specified otherwise)
• Scoring System:
  • Correct Answer: +1 mark
  • Wrong Answer: -0.25 mark

• Tie-Breaker Rule:
  • In the event of a tie in marks, the participant who completes the exam in the least amount of time will be awarded the prize.

11. A total of 5 lucky winners will get following prizes

• First prize: Apple MacBook (1 winner)
• Second prize: Apple IPad (1 winner)
• Third prize: smart watch (3 winners)

In addition to the above prizes, 25 consolation prizes will be given out.  Also online, certificates will be given to all participants. The prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash.

12. If the prize is declined, unclaimed or unable to be claimed, or if a winner cannot be contacted from the details provided, ISKCON GURUGRAM may direct the select the next best and valid entry from the entries received as an alternative winner at its sole discretion.
13. Winners will be notified on our website. ISKCON GURUGRAM reserves the right to use any other method or medium deemed fit in its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the winners. Upon request, the winners shall be required to provide their contact details and/or any other details deemed necessary and relevant.
